The Case Of The Missing Title Card

Has anyone noticed that on the MGM DVD, all is the same as in the cinema release version except the title card on the opening credits. The original title card, stating "The Premature Burial" in semi-gothic lettering, has been replaced by yellow lettering in a very plain arial-type font stating just "Premature Burial." What happened here? Was a print used of the film that was missing the original title card and a new one had to be inserted? Television copies always show the original title design, which can also be seen in the trailer on the DVD.

My MGM DVD says The Premature Burial for its title card, like the cinema released version

My MGM DVD is a double bill, with The Premature Burial on one side of the disc and The Masque Of The Red Death on the other side of the disc. If this is the same as the one you've got and yours has the original title card and mine hasn't, then that is very odd.
