I've always wanted to see this movie.

Im watching also thanks svengoolie

So far it's been very interesting. I loved hearing their ideas for film publicity.

This guy reminds me of the 60's hosts that came out of the coffin. He's trying his best though. A talking sidekick like a parrot or a skeleton would be better than these cheesy sound bytes.

A long way before Pink Panther franchise. Twenty years to be exact. Good actor great range who knew?

I saw it first run. Scared the heck out of me. It's very good, and Herbert Lom's Phantom is excellent. 

If you saw it first run, was it part of a double feature?

Not that I recall. I do remember the opening credits, including the Universal-International logo, retained for the TV version. It played well this time, more like a Gothic murder mystery with horror added than a pure horror, and as such, well done.
