I like the opening wedding scene, and the variations of "Jingle Bells" played as the young couple heads south on their honeymoon. Especially the "cha-cha-cha" version of "Jingle Bells". LOL!

It was either the moment of blind panic she displayed when the groom pulled up in the hearse (buyer's remorse, eh?), or the moments of the rather drunk Tony Franciosa somewhat shyly trying to explain to his wife how he felt about her now. It's funny really, that he's considered such a swine and hates himself so much even though many marriages in the past came together for equally chilly reasons and still led to loving marriages. I admit, it's not my ideal way to go about it, but it was rather touching all the same to think that someone could marry for reasons other than love and learn from what they see to love the person for the right reasons. Sometimes that even happens when you do marry for love. In fact, it should happen.

I love any of the scenes which show Jim Hutton being very vulnerable.

When Dottie understands or misunderstands her husband's love for her. She runs into the bedroom before he can tell her he does love her. He's not romantic and he realizes his mistake. While she believes she holding him back from true happiness because he hasn't said he loves her.

~ My favorite scenes from the movie is:

-The hospital buzzing scene when George proposes to Isabel
-Isabel & George eating at the diner where they play jangle bells
-The couple arguing at Ralph's place
- Ralph's inlaws coming to pickup Dottie's things & everyone in the house argues
-The police station scenes
- Ending when both couples make up.
