RE: I don't think we're made of the same stuff now' Check out 'Colony'

The kinds of topics gary, hob, myself & others are addressed in this reality show which I didn't even know EXISTED last week. I caught the whole thing "On DEmand" but most of it's gone now. 10 survivors of an apocalypse are isolated in an old warehouse district in this reality show's experiment to see if, how and why of survival. If this topic interests you, this is a "must see".

I had heard of this particular show, but I didn't know what it was about. Sounds interesting. Thank you for the heads up.
Do you think there is a chance of it coming out on DVD?

reply

Dunno, gary. It's "On Demand" at Comcast though.

I just heard about this show maybe two weeks ago but didn't see it -- seemed pretty grim/cool in a sort-of-on-our-topic way here. I'm trying to remember on which channel(s) I saw it advertised -- maybe Comedy Central, believe it or not. Have to see what I can find.

As to gary's query about its DVD availability, I would guess it would likely appear on disc one day soon...

...provided, of course, there still are any DVDs!!!!!

Muhuhuhuwhannanaha-aha!

(How do you spell that evil laugh, anyway?)

Anyway, let's not get into a Panic about things.

PS...MrPie's title is just a tad too long for the subject line at top, so it gets cut off at Check out 'Colon... Okay, check 'em out...

Hey, guys, a lot less disgusting than them other kinds of colons, the kind that sometimes "end" in oscopy. Unless you mean the Panamanian city.

reply

Discovery Channel, hob.

Thanks, MrPie -- that's the channel it's on, but I saw it advertised elsewhere. These channels advertise on one another all the time. I was simply remarking on the rather jarring difference between the normal programming on the Comedy Channel (where I did see the ad), vs. the tone of Colony, as seen in its promos.
