For those who like Japanese movies and the Noir style this movie is a must see. One of the best from the genre. Great cinematography, music and acting. Beautiful.

There really is something different about this film, a feeling that lingers many months after seeing it. I have watched dozens of similar Japanese movies, but Pale Flower's story and look have remained in my memory far better than most of the others - and I plan to watch it again soon. It's not even in my top-ten favorites, but I would recommend it to anyone interested in the era or the film genre!
