Wrong title for this movie

Burn, Witch, Burn should have been the title for the Christopher Lee movie Horror Hotel(1960). The first line Lee has in the film is "burn, witch, burn". The title makes no sense for this movie.

"Burn, Witch, Burn" was the title of a superb 1933 Novel by Abraham Merrit, which should have been filmed years ago (the film "Devil Doll" was very loosely based on it, but had nothing to do with the book other than the name of one character)
Several films have at one time or another been re-titled "Burn, Witch, Burn" and each was a disappointment.

Yes, this title is a proper for the film, as it reflects the center of the third act. The film the OP refers to is The City of the Dead, which is also a proper title for that film. Horror Hotel was the rather silly American title.

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

"The title makes no sense for this movie."

Other than the fact that there are witches in the film and there is a sequence when a house catches on fire with a witch inside and the antagonist, who is responsible for the fire, who is also a witch, uses the line "Burn, witch, burn". Yes, other than that the title makes no sense.

It did make it sound like this film would take place back during the witch trials and have witches burned at the stake; but as others said it does fit in with the ending of the film so I'm not too bothered.
