Nice to see Michael Ripper get a bigger part than usual in a Hammer film. Most of the time he did a few short but memorable bit parts in a movie. Always a joy to watch him act.

Was always cast as the innkeeper or coach driver

Michael Ripper didn't get a lot of screen time in Hammer Movies. But he still must have run leading star Christopher Lee fairly close for Hammer screen time over all.
