Looks like R. Preston had 20 plus years on S. Jones

If you were Henry Hill and a S. Jones like goddess started to fall for you, would you complain?

Sixteen years, as it turns out.

I didn't initially like him in the film because when I first saw it, we'd just done the musical in high school and I couldn't shake the boy who played Professor Hill in our production (and, obviously, he was about the same age as the girl who played Marian). But I thought Preston was such a hoot in Victor/Victoria that when this one came round on TCM, I decided to give it another chance. I do love the songs.
