Three from Columbia Pictures. Any info on a DVD release?

I would imagine Columbia still has the U.S. rights to these Hammer Films:
Creatures The World Forgot, Maniac (1963), and The Old Dark House (1963). They don't share a common theme, but it would make a nice Hammer DVD set. There are plenty of bootlegs for Maniac in particular, but I'd rather own a legit copy.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing this film as part of a box set called "Icons of Suspense" with five other Hammer thrillers. It's slated for release in April.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

Thank you for this information! I'm looking forward to this DVD set. I did a search based on your info, and saw the other titles that will be released with "Maniac." It'll be a great addition for anyone who collects Hammer!

iray-2,

Do some research and you will find "The Old Dark House" (1963) was indeed Hammer!
William Castle directed the film and he was a producer, but it was a Hammer film. Yes, it is included on the William Castle box set, and if you were paying attention you would have seen "A William Castle-Hammer Production" in the film's opening credits. Still don't believe me? Try the IMDb link, or check with the official Hammer Films site.
