'The Barnyards of Delgaty'?

Every time I listen to Pat Boone sing "The Main Attraction", I hear so much resemblance to the Irish song "The Barnyards of Delgaty" aka "Barnyards of Delgaty":

Of course, this isn't the first time an old melody has been used in a song. "Love Me Tender" has different words to "Aura Lee" though that's an outright usage.

Unfortunately, I can't find "The Main Attraction" song at YouTube.

I wonder: Is the resemblance my imagination? Am I "mishearing"?
