FMC Finally Broadcast It In Widescreen!

FMC finally broadcast it today in lovely digital widescreen format! Yay!!! So glad I noticed. I've been bugging them to play this moving classic for YEARS.

Previous crummy bootlegs out there for this film have been washed out pan and scan versions with crummy audio out of sync with the actor's mouths.

Except for occasional dirt artifacts this broadcast was pristine and the one to get!

Hooray for FMC!

And what the heck is IMDb STILL listing this film as "The Inspector"? Cut that crapola, please, IMDb! It's been called Lisa in America since I was a little girl in the 1960's.

Because the film was a British film and its title was THE INSPECTOR. If the Americans wanted to change the title for the American market, that was up to them. But the original title is THE INSPECTOR.
