For anyone looking for a copy of The Lion, Fox Movie Channel will be showing it August 22, 2006 at 4 pm. According to the schedule it will be in the letterbox format! Huzzah! I've been wanting to see this forever and I refuse to watch the crappy, commercial laden version on AMC.

I'm sure it will on in September as well, but the schedule only goes as far as August.

The Letterbox version will be on FMC August 22 at 4:00 pm and
September 06 at 2:00 pm. The Lion was shot in Cinemascope with an Aspect ratio 2.35:1 so a pan and scan version would be hard to watch. Best wait for the (LB) version.
