Video Rental is DUBBED

Dubbed with no warning. I looked all over the box, then got it home and it was DUBBED. I am grateful to track down a copy at all, but dubbed movies are not my thing. Several other Chabrol movies are dubbed too. What's so wrong about subtitling?
