Poll: Who did you cheer for, who will you cheer for?
(1) Who did you cheer for in the first film?
(2) Who will you support now, if a remake is actually made?
My answer in both cases - Godzilla!
I rooted for Kong in the original version: 1. He was American (relatively speaking). 2. Like in his original movie, he basically got kidnapped and brought to his final destination against his will. 3. Godzilla was going on his usual rampage and had to be stopped, Kong seemed like the logical choice.
I'll have to, at least, see some footage from the upcoming remake to see who will be the "face" and who will be the "heel".
