When exactly does Mary and John kiss?

They don't kiss in this movie, although I guess it's implied that they end up together. Hayley Mills didn't have a screen kiss until The Moonspinners two years later.

Mary kisses John on the cheek at 0:19 minutes into the (shortened) DVD.
This is in celebration of John's father deciding to Search for the Castaways.

Yeah, it was a 'thank you' kiss more so than anything romantic, although in light of the rest of the film I'm sure there was a smidgen of that.
