What the Heck Ending


So after all that, the doctor hooks up with the lawyer who's been lying to her for months AND put the suspicion of murder on her? Would it be too much to ask WHY?

Yes, that's often a problem with big budget, major star Hollywood movies. Too many cooks in the pot. Since so many people are concerned whether it will make the investment money back.

Yeah, that was an odd ending to an odd movie but to be fair there were moments in the movie when they showed some closeness between them. It didn't all of a sudden happen at the end of the movie. The only reason she was standoffish was because, well, other than the fact he was married, was because she thought he was holding his wife hostage and mistreating her.

The stuff that happened earlier, him prosecuting her, was all but forgotten. I think they even discussed it and he said he was doing his job and as far as he was concerned she had paid her debt to society. When the truth was finally revealed she had compassion for him. He had been through a lot. He, like her, had started off trying to do something for good reasons but it blew up in his face. If anyone could understand how someone's good intentions could go wrong, Christine could.
