Saw this was on TCM recently but didn't get to see it. I'll have to look for it again, though - any movie with Rip Torn, Warren Oates and Harry Dean Stanton all in it must be interesting...and James Mason too!

And Neville Brand is in it too and very good. He playes the main villain (surprise!). This is a good movie and worth watching out for.

TCM America seems to have a much broader range of films than the UK channel... I've given up on seeing it.

I recorded this when it was on in the fall, and just watched it last night - very entertaining. I couldn't pass up the combo of James Mason and Neville Brand. I think the realm of classic movies on tv would be in some huge trouble if it weren't for TCM.
