Regarding Homer (SPOILER WARNING)

He was used to replace one of the American soldiers killed and he was fighing in the combat at the end. If he survived the war I sure hope he got to come to America. He deserved it.

He wasan;t used to replace anyone realy They were already short handed and he offerd his service. Although A few of the men didn;t want him there because he was not a traind soldier they desided since they were short handed another person could come in handy. Although it has been awhile since i saw the film most of what he did was food and take ammo to people stuff like that. If i remember right this was supposed to be there last battle and the men were supposed to come off the line since they had been there for quit some time. so If his character did survice he may or may not been able to go to the states. In an ideal wourld he would have but in a ideal world there would have never been any type of wars.

Ari: Lets hug it out
John wayne:If you say three you will never hear the man count ten.

The late Nick Adams' family was from Pennsylvania but they moved to New Jersey when he was very young. One of my friends' fathers went to high school with Mr. Adams (when he was still known as Nick Adamshock).

It's great to see the credits of some of the late Charles Bronson's films (like the Vincent Price film, "House of Wax"), when he was still billed as Charles Buchinsky!

And, one of the young schoolchildren you see running in absolute fear as they are attacked by all of those savage birds in Alfred Hitchcok's thriller, "The Birds," is listed as Suzanne Cupito in the film's closing credits. And, yet, if you look at that little girl's credits in her later work (as on the tv series "Dallas"), she's listed in the credits as "Morgan Brittany."

Imagine that, going from "Suzanne Cupito" to something classy like "Morgan Brittany"? Only in America!!!

I hope you understand that this was a fictional movie and that Homer was a fictional character.
