correct running time?

I just got a copy of Image Entertainment's version. A very nice print, and supposedly uncut, including both "shocking" scenes of nudity, but IMDb lists the run time as 90 mins or 86 mins in Sweden. It also mentions a few seconds of cuts in Britain which would probably take care of the nude scenes. However, the copy I have is listed at 83 minutes. It actually runs a few seconds under that, but again is supposed to be uncut. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the 90 or 86 minute version could possibly be? Just curious...

I'm not sure if there are different versions. Different running times are often the result of "technical" facts. Apparently, the same film encoded for NTSC or PAL can (I don't know if this is always the case--I just do not know enough about the technical stuff) run at different speeds, meaning that the film actually plays slightly slower or faster relative to the other.

There are quite a few films on IMDb where different listed running times are a result of that, per numerous comments from people who sound like they know the technical stuff thoroughly.

I have the same DVD that you do, by the way--rounding the time up, it's 83 minutes.

Thanks for the reply. I just checked dvdcompare.net and they have a whole list of cuts between the 93-minute Spanish version (PAL) and the different European cut (which has lots of small cuts here or there) which explains the time difference.
