I finally met one of my favourite actors of all time yesterday at a photo signing in London. Leslie phillips is still as charming and funny as all those comedy roles that he has played over the years. I asked him about the Fast Lady and what was it like to drive the beautiful Bentley? he told me that it was fantastic to drive and the producers actually offered to sell the car to Leslie for £500 after filming was complete. He said that he didn't buy it because it needed a lot of looking after and he had nowhere to keep it but he said that it was a beautiful machine.
