Many years ago, I caught the Canadian bank robbery thriller THE SILENT PARTNER (starring Elliot Gould and Christopher Plummer). Just having seen EXPERIMENT IN TERROR, I conclude that TSP was an homage to EIT. Nothing wrong with that, and I recommend TSP for buffs who enjoyed EIT.

shareI love Christopher Plummer in this flick. When he talks through the mail slot - perfection. I used to walk through Eaton Centre when they were filming this. Not the greatest direction, probably because of lack of funding. Could be remade although I doubt you could find a more insidious villain than the one Christopher Plummer pulls off. Johnny Depp could do it I suppose but ...
