dubbing problem?

is it just me (or, more apropos, my toshiba player, or maybe just the copy of the disc that netflix sent me), or did anyone else playing the dubbed version have the english completely drop out at roughly the 20:30 mark? up until then, english. after that, spanish, even though i returned to the menu more than once & re-clicked "english".

not a big deal, of course ... sometimes i'm just too lazy to read subtitles. in general, casa negra seems to have done a nice job with the dubbing.

fwiw, i experienced no such problem a couple of days ago with their other disc, "curse of the crying woman."

It's my understanding that the portion of the film you're refering to was cut out of the original U.S. release and was never dubbed into English.

I have the VHS tape & didn't have a dubbing problem.
