Wonder why

Wonder why James Mason chose to take an uncredited cameo in this film. Not that it was beneath him, just why this film? Funny too since with a full beard and looking the worse for wear he could still never disguise his voice! Great great actor!

Actually read here later that it was one of his foibles to accept almost any film offered to him. Great actor, great voice, greatly unappreciated.
