In the 1980s, after Richard Kiel had become a pretty hardcore Born Again Christian, he tried to obtain private financing to remake Eegah (basically use the same story) where the caveman comes to the city and learns about religion and converts. Unfortunately for all bad movie lovers, the project never got made.

That would have been nice since at the end the writers messed up and misquoted the Bible. There isn't even a Genesis 4:32 and chapter 4 is the story of Cain and Abel. . .
I really would of have liked to see it, even if maybe out of curiosity. Bad movies can sometimes be some of the greatest.
