Sisina

Whatever happened to the girl who played Sisina. According to IMDb she must have been 15 at the time of Divorzio, and afterwards she played in 3 or 4 films and that was it. Her face was striking, it drew your attention right away. She's first seen in Divorzio in the church, in the background, but your eyes turn to her, not to the leading characters in the foreground. It's a beautiful face, in spite of all the sulking she has to do throughout the film, and it's amazing she was cast in such an obvious lust object role while being so young. To me, she was the discovery of this film, and it's a pity she disappeared from sight. I got this same feeling when seeing Valeria Ciangottini making her debut in La dolce vita, but fortunately she stayed around in the business.

Couldn't find any news about her unfortunately.

It was not uncommon though in Italian cinema at the time to see young starlets have a brief and promising career before disappearing from the scenes, one of the most common reasons being they would end up marring some "big shot" in the industry and opt to raise a family instead.

I just hope it was a more conscious choice than what happened to poor Daniela Rocca after this same film.
