famous movie connection

I'm watching this movie right now on Fox. The start of the scene where Kent Taylor's character meets his Martian doppelganger in the mansion shows him walking through a bowling alley. Unless I'm mistaken it's the exact same bowling alley as the final scene in There Will Be Blood. Anyone else notice this?

UR not mistaken; this house has been used in many films. Thankfully, most of them not as worthless as this.

The real wow factor is that not only are the movies polar opposites in terms of quality, but they're seperated by nearly 50 years. You don't expect the exact same room to show up in both.

This film was made entirely on Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, which includes the famous bowling alley, according to Joe Dante on Trailers From Hell:

Apparently a lot of films were made there before "There Will Be Blood," though that is the most prominent I'm sure.
