I suspect mostly OCD. Also, he was probably a genius and that can be extremely isolating.

He had a fear of people touching him. I think it's called aphephobia.

He seemed to be somewhere on the Autistic Spectrum, probably Asperghers.

I haven't seen it in a while but I think he was more ill than mentioned here. I think they were purposely vague on diagnosing anything in this film, probably because they were sensitive to a number of things.
But it looked like Schizophrenia to me, perhaps not full blown yet but on the way?

Actually it`s called haphephobia. It`s pretty a debilitating mental condition, but it could be worse. As they say, "Haphephobia is better than none."

Strong traits of OCD, obviously, but let's face it, diagnostic categories are way overrated-- especially in pop psychology.
