Is Gwyneth Paltrow a clone?

Is it just me or does the actress who plays Mary look exactly like Gwyneth Paltrow? (or vice versa?) I couldn't get over the resemblance the whole time I was watching it!

Congratulations. You're still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model.

reply

It might not be just you, but it certainly is not me.

I find Gwyneth to be slightly ugly, and looks like a young girl.

But I find the actress in this to be very pretty. And looking like a woman.

I can see some similarities tho.

reply

Haven't seen movie but kinda agree with you.

reply

To me she looked a lot like the Scottish model Kirsty Hume.

reply

Looks like a combo of Gwyneth Paltrow and Ann Heche

I just can't get enough minimalism.

I don't see any resemblance to Gwyneth, but you are so right about Ann Heche! I thought the same thing many times throughout the film!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

I had the same experience watching Rosemary's Baby the other night. I kept seeing young Mia Farrow as young Gwyneth Paltrow - they look so much alike, especially in the scenes where Rosemary wears little or no makeup, like the ending.

reply

I think you see Gwyneth Paltrow in her because of her gooch eye...both actresses have them. I believe its called Strabismus <sp?>

reply

Strabismus is my new band name.

Gooch eye, yes, but the resemblance was much greater than just that. Bony figure, small nose, freckles, wide mouth, prominent cheekbones, coloring, famous showbiz parents.

there was this screw wot really had it in for me

reply

No. They look nothing alike.

reply

They look nothing like each other.

reply

I thought the exact same thing. They do share a resemblance.

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

Have you seen Paltrow act? She's not a clone. She's a robot!
