I would have killed Cady long before the Cape Fear climax. He mean't to kill Sam and his family that he attempted to do on the boat. This story was written long before all the political correctness bull *beep* we have now.

Wouldn't have been much of a movie if you killed Cady before the climax.

The more Robert Mitchum the better. He blew Peck off the screen.

The only time he was even more evil was in Night of the Hunter. Not to be missed in this life. OMG he could play scary, Mitchum.
