His gradual evolution from a poor kid with an alcoholic father who died when he was 13, which led to his anger management issue, to a person who ever so slowly develops feelings for others and the capacity to show and share them. Even to a sworn enemy like Harvey. All because of a chance "fall of a sparrow". It's a message of hope for everyone that for anyone troubled if they can just take a sincere interest in a constructive project they can do good in the world and for themselves.
