I just watched this film and thought I had seen John Astin in a bit part (as the air plane pilot), but he was not listed in the cast listing on IMDb. Does anyone know if he was in the film?

I can't verify it or anything, but that is what I thought when I watched , even before I saw your comment. I would like to get it confirmed myself.

I recognized the voice but couldn't remember his name. When I got a good look at his face, I realized that he also was the father on "The Addams Family", so I went there.

Yes, I agree that it is John Astin as the airplane pilot.

Yes, it's John Astin in the close-up scene where he's trying to start the engine by grabbing and turning the propeller. But in the earlier long-shot scene of the pilot sitting in the cockpit wearing a helmet, the voice sounded like another actor I've seen many times, but I can't come up with his name at the moment.

There seems also to be some confusion as to the identity of the actor who plays Lennie. Chuck (Christian) Haren and Chick Hearn were two distinctly different actors. Both men are named in the cast listing here as playing this role. Can anyone help clarify this?

FYI do any of you remember the child that popped the popcorn bag that caused the Stephen Boyd to fall? Her name was Vickie Grimes. Does any one have that screen in a still?
