WONDERFUL version of B+B!

I really loved & respected this picture after one viewing of it!

It's a typical late night story. Wide awake & flipping through channels when I saw this about to start & decided to give it a go since I love old movies & fairy tales. This was a new take on Beauty & the Beast for me, but a wonderful one!

I really hope to find this on tape or DVD one day! The acting was super & the special effects, giving the time, was outstanding!

I agree! My mother and I watched this great, little movie just last night and it is refreshingly different!

I really like the fact that he is only a beast at night and human during the day. As mentioned on this board the costumes are breathtaking, the sets are wonderful, and appropriately eerie. I like classic "scary" movies and love fairy tales; especially with beautiful visuals. :)
