Hope someone can help. I was wondering if someone can tell me the name of the instrumental played during the french maid dance routine (initial appearance following Laya Rakis routine). I didn't hear it on the Beat Girl soundtrack. Also, if its available anywhere. Thanks.
shareIt's not on the soundtrack album, and it might have been a John Barry cue that didn't make the album. On the other hand, it could have been a piece written by somebody else, as was the music used during the exotic strip scene preceding it. To be sure you'd have to get a copy of the music cue-sheet from PRS.
Incidentally, I've seen a few references to "Laya Raki" but I can't find any evidence that it was her in that preceding scene. The film credits show the role was played by "Pascaline" and I see no reason to doubt that.

No, that track does not accompany the scene the original poster is discussing. The music is not on the CD soundtrack.
