Soundtrack - Missing Songs

Hope someone can help. I was wondering if someone can tell me the name of the instrumental played during the french maid dance routine (initial appearance following Laya Rakis routine). I didn't hear it on the Beat Girl soundtrack. Also, if its available anywhere. Thanks.

I've been looking for that also. The scene when Nigel Green rolls his eyes at the stripper in irritation. Great piece. Off-topic, a few seconds of the Beat Girl opening music is on 1:46 of the Barry-scored michael Caine flick Deadfall.

Well, another movie mystery unanswered...

It's not on the soundtrack album, and it might have been a John Barry cue that didn't make the album. On the other hand, it could have been a piece written by somebody else, as was the music used during the exotic strip scene preceding it. To be sure you'd have to get a copy of the music cue-sheet from PRS.

Incidentally, I've seen a few references to "Laya Raki" but I can't find any evidence that it was her in that preceding scene. The film credits show the role was played by "Pascaline" and I see no reason to doubt that.

No, that track does not accompany the scene the original poster is discussing. The music is not on the CD soundtrack.
