The chase scenes...

The chase scenes were some of the funniest!

In almost EVERY episode:

ST would be chasing some perp through the streets, and down back alleyways.
Almost every time, the perp would get way ahead of ST....but would ALWAYS stop and peer around a corner until ST appeared, stopped, and looked around.
ST would and the perp would make eye contact, and the chase would resume.

It was as if the perp was thinking: "Good, I've lost him. But I'll wait here until he catches up with me.....OH, Wait! There he is!!! But he hasn't spotted me yet....let me keep peeking around this corner.....he almost sees me.....alllllmosssst....alllllmossssst.....OOOOPS! He sees me now! Better start running again!"

The same thing would happen with the car-chases.
It was as if each car had a tow-chain connecting them....the cars were always soclosetoeachother.
