Filming at the Cumberland Hotel

Can anybody remember a scene where The Saint comes out the Cumberland Hotel in London?

A relative told me he saw Roger Moore in the 60's coming out of the hotel and getting into a car that looked like the one he used in The Saint.

I said they may have been filming at the time with either a hidden camera or from across the street.

Does anyone remember anything in the series being filmed there?
