opening credits just like Bond
I just checked and both this series and Dr. No came out in 1962. Who ripped who off?
shareWell, since Dr. No was released on May 8, 1962, and the first episode of The Saint aired on October 4, 1962, I'd say the latter ripped off the former. The producers probably decided to capitalize on the popularity of the Bond film by mimicking it.
