Two episodes, two girls: sung the same song?

Is my memory failing me? In two different episodes the same song is being sung, but by different women on what looks like the same stage?

The first episode (about jailbreaks for cash, with a young Donald Sutherland) is where Templar burgles a house and then escapes the cops at the beginning and dashes to a bar.
As he bribes the barman to say he had been there all night, an attractive blonde lady (bob-style?) is singing on stage (with that 60's wobbly head) "My lov-er for eter-ni-ty!" to a very 60's drum-rolling backbeat?

Then, there's one where a diamond necklace is stolen behind a fashion show's stag (in France?).
A later scene is when an out-of-tune bar singer - a long-haired brunette French woman- is performing the same song on what appears to be the same stage, to the same backing beat?

Can anyone confirm?

Anyone else noticed this? Just watching the 'French' episode again now on TV.

You are correct, the same song is sung in both. The 1st appearance is in the episode 'A Double in Diamonds' and the 2nd appearance was in 'Escape Route'.

Why the same song was used I don't know as it's not even very good. Very 60's though.
