SHOULD BE COLORIZED

From what I've heard, colorization of B&W TV shows has progressed far beyond Ted Turner and his "crayons".
In fact, it looks more like the Technicolor of the musicals and "Arabian Nights" movies of the late '40's-early '50's.

If so, then this show (among others) should be colorized in order to really appreciate the lush surroundings where the men were based, and the colorful costumes of the natives.

I really appreciate the B&W photography of movie classics such as CITIZEN KANE and the films noir, but on TV, it just doesn't come out well.
Could be the reason why the networks announced that all programming was to be in color starting in 1967, and that owning a color TV was considered status.
