Outdoor Settings

I remember that there were times when they would take the show south to Miami or even LA. The programs were done outdoors to take advantage of the nice weaather, ususally in the midst of winter. I also seen to remember that many times the counting devises for keep up the point totals would malfunction alot.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the boardgame?

I'm sorry. You must be mistaken about The Match Game being broadcast away from New York. The show was always done from its studio in New York City.

As for the home game, Milton Bradley published nine different versions of the home game. They are still plentiful and should be reasonably priced (less than $10) on eBay.

The show which preceded "The Match Game" on most NBC stations was "You Don't Say!" hosted by Tom Kennedy. That show occasionally taped outdoors in locations like Cypress Gardens, Florida. So maybe that's what you were thinking of.
