Uncut mishap ca. 1965

Does anyone know of of an unrehearsed outburst that occured on a MATCH GAME show, airing sometime around 1965? The one in question involved a panel member and Gene Rayburn occuring right at the very end of the show. During the final Q & A sequence, a disagreement broke out between Gene Rayburn and a woman celebrity, who's name I cannot recall (now , or even over the past 35 years). This panel member stormed off the stage.

What I do remember is, she was brunette , age around 30, and for some odd reason her name might have been Meredith. I thought it could be Meredith McRae, but she would have been too young (and non-brunette). Never again, did I witness an uncut stage-scuffle like this.
Been stumped for years. DM

Wouldn't you know it? All I did was pursue the MATCH GAME web pages, and behold, I find the mystery panelist.
Phyllis Newman was the one I was looking for!
The episode occured sometime in 1966 or 67.
Needless to say, I have answered my own question.
Cheers everyone!

Do you recall or did you ever find out about what the argument between Phyllis Newman and Gene Rayburn was?

That is certainly interesting, as both Miss Newman and Mr. Rayburn had been regular members of the Goodson-Todman family; Rayburn as an emcee ("Dough Re Mi", "Match Game," and the daytime "Tic Tac Dough," among others) and panelist ("Name's the Same," "To Tell the Truth,' and "What's My Line?," among others), and Newman as a panelist on a few G-T panel quiz shows, including the daytime "To Tell the Truth" and "What's My Line?"
