I Completely agree and I also would like to know where we can request them because this show is a classic.

I agree with you. I wish they'd do the same with Make Room For Daddy.

Me 2! All I have of Here's Lucy are 24 episodes from 1968-1972, and it's the Best Loved Episodes DVD. I would like to see 1973-1974! And about TLS, all I have are two episodes from 1962 and the rest are episodes from 1966-67. I'd like to see 1963-1965 too! They're great episodes, but I'd like episodes from each season!

are the votes getting high enough to think they will release season sets?

reply

I hope that The Lucy Show is released on DVD soon! I haven't seen this show since Nick-at-Nite took it off the air in '96 and I really miss it. My Lucy collection wont feel complete until I have all of Lucy's shows in season sets on DVD. Let's hope they get released soon.

I bought a five tape set of the Lucy show, with guest stars George Burns, Jim Nabors (tho it was a cameo at the end of the episode when Lucy was drafted), Milton Berle (and Ruta Lee as well as Mrs. Milton Berle), Frankie Avalon, Robert Goulet (and Mary Wickes and Lucie Arnaz as a secretary named Dottie), John Wayne, Carol Burnett (2 back-to-back episodes), Sheldon Leonard and Tennessee Ernie Ford (remembered this episode from way back then, but you always remember Ernie Ford singng), and then I recorded one episode that aired on TVland, with Alan Hale Jr and Mary Wickes.

My sister has the tapes now.

I just sent off for a four episode set on dvd: Paul Winchell (if it is the episode I think it is, will enjoy seeing this one again, very much), Lucy on a Submarine (vaguely recall it), Lucy as the Bean Queen (Now I remember her saying that, but I don't recall what the episode was about) and I take it the George Burns episode again, alas.
