Which version of the show is your favorite?

Season 1 - Lucy and Vivian and the kids prominently used in plots with the Harry character seen semi-often as Lucy's boyfriend/neighbor, like a standard domestic sitcom format

Seasons 2 & 3 - Lucy, Vivian and Mr. Mooney with the children used much less during S2 (compred to S1) and rarely seen at all in S3, and the Countess standing in for Vivian in some eps during S3

Seasons 4, 5 & 6 - Lucy and Mr. Mooney (without Vivian and the children) and Mary Jane (or another costar such as the Countess, in S4) sometimes filling as as Lucy's close friend, with a new celebrity guest star almost every week, similar to a variety show

My favorite is Season 1.

I always thought the early season, with the two-story house and the kids and the old country bank was one show, and the 'mod' office and apartment with no kids was another show, when I heard she did four shows (before Life came about).

I think I definitely prefer the early ones.

I enjoy every season for a variety of reasons, but the first is definitely the freshest and funniest.

I'm rediscovering "The Lucy Show" and boy am I enjoying it! I'm beginning to think Lucy did some of her best work on here.

And to answer your question, from the eps I've seen, I LOVE seasons 2 & 3. The girl and boy who played her kids are kind of unfunny and boring, so the seasons where it was mainly Lucy, Viv, and Mr. Mooney really shine! Lucy's hilarious and the comedy dynamic amongst the three is incredible. 

I also like the country house/upstate NY setting a lot better than the L.A. one. I love lucy (pun intended, LOL), but the eps where she had guest stars on all the time got a little stale. Best eps were simply Lucy and the gang! 

Ah, simple reason. :) I LOVE the chemistry and comedy dynamic between Lucy and Gale Gordon. Hysterical!  They were the original 'frenemies', LOL.

I love the Lucy Show (I Love Lucy is still tops!) and I am also fond of Here's Lucy. I like all of the seasons of the Lucy Show. Each season has a episode that I Love. But the ones with Viv as a regular are my favorite.

The later seasons out in California in color and with Gale Gordon were much better/funnier IMO!!!!

I like Season 1 was the best. It was the most funniest one of the entire seasons.

Season 2 was boring. I think seasons 3 and 4 were a bit of an improvement from Season 2.

Don't play games with a girl who can play better.
