Again, I wasn't complaining just pointing out an interesting fact. And Judy wasn't born in the 60s if she was 15 in 1962 she was born in 1947, a completely different time where I highly doubt getting married and being pregnant at 18 wasn't what society thought was correct for anyone.
No, I am well aware how women were seen before 1970 and I completely forgot this show is set in the 21st century, but that has nothing to do with it. Whatever, I was just making an interesting point.
I believe Jane should get a complete makeover: hair, clothes, the whole 39 yards. Then maybe--just maybe--that jerk husband of hers would stop leering over other women. On second, thought, he's not worth the trouble or expense.
Wiki says that Jane is 32 and I always figured the Judy was 16 or 17. This would make George a pedophile. If Judy is just 15 then George is a Statutory Rapist in almost all the states in the US in 1962 and even today due to most states having a 5 year age difference. In 1962, you would have a "shotgun" wedding, in 2010 you would be locked up with a brusier named "bubba".
If Jane is 32 and Judy is 15 the difference is 17 years + 9 months which it is possible that Jane was just 16 when she concieved Judy. It is a very close legal issue that I am suprised didn't get publicly raised in the 1960's.
In the first episode she says she's 33 and that Judy is 15. Doing math proves that Jane was 18 years old when Judy was born. Just an interesting fact.
I literally just watched that scene and was wondering the same thing. I never really thought about the parents' ages before, but I would've guessed Jane was in her early to mid 40s and George looked like he was closer to 50.

I just watched the episode where they get Rosie the Robot and it's mentioned that Jane is 33, and then looking at Judy who is said to be 15 I was like "Holy Crap, Jane Jetson, wholesome cartoon wife & mother, was a teen mom!" Now I initially figured George was the same age, but if He's actually 40, then... is he really Judy's biological father or is he Judy's stepfather? Not that there's anything wrong with that of course.
