This post was deleted because the Aquaphibian from "XL5 to H2O" gassed it, since the emergency elevator was at the bottom of the shaft and not at the top where it belonged (I saw that plot hole at four years of age!). ;-)
BTW does anyone else notice the resemblance between Matt Matic and Thufir Hawatt from the "Dune" movie?

What is it with the elevators on both Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds ? I get the feeling that someone hated elevators with a passion. I don't blame them.
