Question About DVDs

I have the Volume 1 to 4 DVDs that were released in 2005.

I see that the official Davey and Goliath website (but not Amazon.com) also have about 4 other DVDs released in 2005, not numbered Volumes 1-4. Do these contain different episodes ? If so, why did the company release them this way ?
