I'll be seeing the original 1961 film West Side Story on Sept. 27.

Hi, everybody. I'll be seeing the original 1961 film version of West Side Story next Friday, September 27th, at a place in Haverhill, MA, a city that's about 45 minutes north of Boston and Somerville. I've already bought and printed out my ticket, and I'm excited about it.

I'll keep everybody posted afterwards.

Of course the OP knows this. S/he just wants to see it on the big screen.

You're spot-on, atomicgirl! I'm a woman, btw, who's been a devout fan of the original 1961 film version of West Side Story for more than 50 years! Thanks, though.

Dalton--I know that. But I prefer seeing it on a great big, wide screen, in a real movie theatre, with the lights down low, as much as possible.
