She absolutely deserved everything she got

It serves her well!
She had always been so blinded by religion, feeling herself almost mystical, virginally pure and perfect in every way...
But she was nothing else than a Bible-basher and a self-righteous and fanatic do-gooder who believed she could make everyone else think and feel the very way she did. And, ironically, she was also a masochist: sleeping on the floor, doing funny things with ashes and wearing a coarse sleeping shirt. Maybe she thought she was a new Joan of Arc?
She believed she was so almighty that she could lead a bunch of stinky thieves, whores, drunks and lazy buggers into sanctity... So she fed them like pigs and then began intoxicating them with religion... And, unsurprisingly, the filthy, ungrateful bastards ended up showing their real nature in no time.
She alone is to blame for everything that comes to her.

You can't really believe that. Religion may have failed her but she certainly did nothing to deserve the kick in the teeth that life gave her.

What a hateful post from the OP! Wow.

Viridiana is certainly thought provoking, another great film from the master Luis Bunuel.

For real. People cant see beyond their pathetic hatred for religion, its childish.

Intentions matter in life, she was trying to do good, even if not going about it the best way. What is a person who grew up in a convent supposed to act like?

She was trying to help people, not go around inciting genocide! Beautiful woman, with a beautiful smile. You're just a bitch who's puss gets dry and itchy at the mention of religion and you get hateful. Childish.

I'm not even religious, by the way; but I respect people and have had many Christian friends.

You cant hate a person for naivete
