My French was never that good, so I'm not sure what "Boulevard du Rhum" is???
.I liked "La Verite" very much but have not seen it since it first came out, I believe n 1960!!! WHY aren't these films on DVD? I think some of it is due to copyrights, etc.,,,,or, the 'business end' of who owns the rights to these films, etc.,,,
What is 'Boulevard du Rhum'?
The others I know; Woman & the Puppet, and another of my big favorites, "Come Dance with Me"....
I would be hard-pressed to pick just one, but my biggest favorites are:
La Parisienne
Come Dance with Me
Very Private Affair
So good to hear from another BB fan!!! and isn't almost funny that "And God Created Woman" (which I did not like!!) caused such a stir in 1956, and now, seen today, we wonder what the heck all the fuss as about???!
I don't know, though, if that's such a good thing that we have become so jaded by sexuality in movies and even everyday life....

Both 'La verite' and 'En cas de malheur' are masterpieces for me, the only two of Brigitte's! I really love and enjoy the other titles too, but none of them is that good like these two!
Yes, I think that's because of the fact that it's not that easy to get the rights for it, that these films are not available on DVDs yet. Of course most of them is released in France, but they hardly have English subtitles as far as I know.
But you can always try to download them from the net, like from eMule or PirateBay. English subtitles are available to download in the Internet, too.
