POWERFUL FILM

___Powerful, and great! Extremely fine acting, complex characterisations, tedious, and finely honed set-ups. One of the great films of the early 60's. Should be in everyone's film library.
___1961 gave us several classics aside from Victim such as West Side Story, The Misfits, A Raisin in the Sun, The Hustler, The Children's Hour, Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Pit and the Pendilum, a few others. Not 1939, but a great film year.
