After watching that underwater scene, I... uh... can see why.
That Wikipedia article was certainly badly done. It says she had roles in movies like The Emperor Waltz, The Robe, Brigadoon and My Sister Eileen -- made in 1948, 1953, 1954 and 1955 respectively -- as well as on TV shows in the mid-50s. Yet in the next sentence it says she had her "first role in film" in a 1958 episode of Perry Mason. Apart from the fact that the article had just detailed numerous roles she'd had in films and TV for over a decade beforehand, Perry Mason was a television show, not a film.
But assuming the rest of the article is basically accurate, it sounds like she's had a nice life. Twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren?! And she's only 74 at this date. But the notion of this sexy blond cave girl being a great-grandmother is a bit disconcerting!
